I had not yet met my next couple until the day of their wedding. When I finally got to meet Emma, she was sitting in a silk robe adorned with gems on the back that spelled out “Bride”. She was all smiles as she shook my hand in between getting her mascara on and her smile went from ear to ear. She reminded me of a Grace Kelly-era movie starlet. Just stunning really, with her hair up all in tight curls she was a pleasure to meet and work for. I almost drooled on her Kate Spade wedding heels – SO fantastic!!!
The Bride and Groom lived in NYC and Emma’s father (who was also the priest that married them, which was so sweet) had a few funny stories of their trials and tribulations of living in the big city. The entire day from start to finish was beautiful, even the sun showed up to cast a gorgeous light and help warm all the girls standing outside in just dresses on a chilly December 10th day. The bridal party took a trolley around to their various photo locations which included the empire state plaza and a brewery – the Albany Pump Station (To see those shots head over to Clark + Walker!!!). Their reception was held at 11 North Pearl and had a fun ‘winter wonderland’ motif with silver accents and classic hand painted sparkly ornaments that caught the light in so many pretty colors. It was a very classic, crisp and clean look for a wedding, something new and exciting.
