Alycia + Everett

This was the first time I had ever been to the prestigious Inn at Erlowest in Lake George. I had always heard wonderful things about it and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The views of the sunset there were that of something I had NEVER seen before. Although I do have to admit that the skys were probably only that spectacular because of the torrential downpour hours before, I’d still say it was worth it!

Alycia looked like a Hollywood starlet in  her dress and she even had a reception dress change (which I LOVE when brides do!!). She is a very beautiful girl and she pulled off each look spectacularly. Everett had the best dance moves I’d ever see come out of a groom and he lit the floor up all night, it was great!! Even though the ceremony had to be moved in last minute due to the rain, this wedding still turned out to be a fabulous day and the rain even added some comic relief during the ceremony, except for the poor darling bridesmaid and flower girl that got drenched head to toe after being caught in the downpour!! Watch below to see it all go down!

Seasons are changing!!

I love when the seasons change, wedding colors and dresses go from light and airy summer hues to colorful fall tones. To round out the end of summer,  I’ve got a couple weddings from August to share. Peter and Melissa were two wonderful people who were starting a new family. Melissa and her beautiful bump looked so fantastic during their intimate  Jewish ceremony that took place on a dock at their family camp. To celebrate they took their boat out (that said Just Married on the back) for a run around the lake right after, they were SO CUTE!! Then we traveled to back to New Jersey to film the wedding of Jason and Melissa which was full of heart pounding, fist pumping magic from start to finish. After them we went to Birch Hill to film a gorgeous couple, Anthony and Jessica who wed on a gorgeous sunny day with birds chirping and swans (swanning?).  Check out these great weddings below!! They will take you back to the summer sunshine that left us so quickly!

Emma & Jonathon

I had not yet met my next couple until the day of their wedding. When I finally got to meet Emma, she was sitting in a silk robe adorned with gems on the back that spelled out “Bride”. She was all smiles as she shook my hand in between getting her mascara on and her smile went from ear to ear. She reminded me of a Grace Kelly-era movie starlet. Just stunning really, with her hair up all in tight curls she was a pleasure to meet and work for. I almost drooled on her Kate Spade wedding heels – SO fantastic!!!

The Bride and Groom lived in NYC and Emma’s father (who was also the priest that married them, which was so sweet) had a few funny stories of their trials and tribulations of living in the big city. The entire day from start to finish was beautiful, even the sun showed up to cast a gorgeous light and help warm all the girls standing outside in just dresses on a chilly December 10th day. The bridal party took a trolley around to their various photo locations which included the empire state plaza and a brewery – the Albany Pump Station (To see those shots head over to Clark + Walker!!!). Their reception was held at 11 North Pearl and had a fun ‘winter wonderland’ motif with silver accents and classic hand painted sparkly ornaments that caught the light in so many pretty colors. It was a very classic, crisp and clean look for a wedding, something new and exciting.
